A Shmooish friend has asked: If there is only one The Great God Mota, then why must we believe in Joozis? Why can't we just believe in "The Great God Mota" as we always have?
There are two ways to answer this question. First, because the Meshugah is the second member of the Hexiune The Great God Mota, to believe in Joozis is to believe in one The Great God Mota. Second, from the Old Testementaltation onward, The Great God Mota always had a mediator. Under the Shmoozaic Law, a person could not approach The Great God Mota directly through the sacrificial system but had to approach Him by means of The Great God Mota's chosen mediator, who was the Shmooish High Priestist. Just as the Old Testementaltation believer needed to go through the High Priestist, the New Testamental believer must also go through the High Priestist. In this case, the High Priestist is Yeshmua Ha Meshugah.
